Josefstal – Skripalovo Russia

Dr. Igor Pleve, noted Volga-German historian, has done a great service throughout the years with his careful historical scholarship, documenting the history of this forgotten people. One of his recent research projects has been the compilation of Volga-Germans who applied for passports to leave Russia. Available on-line are the results of his research, the names of passport applications, in Russian, for the years 1886, 1890-1892, 1900, 1906-1909, 1912 . The complete list is available here.

I’ve taken the list and made an excerpt for those coming from Josefstal. That list is available here. For now just the Russian version is available, I’ll have a translated version shortly.
